Our Teachers

Music Together North End teachers have successfully completed the Music Together® teacher training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together® Worldwide. Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families!

Mia Liu is a lifelong vocalist and accomplished accordionist. From an early age, she was immersed in music through children's choirs, marching band, and accordion performances.

Mia graduated from the College of William & Mary in Virginia with degrees in accounting and computer science before moving to Boise with her husband in 2014. Prior to leading Music Together North End, she worked alongside maternal–infant professionals in a medical organization, supporting families during the earliest and most foundational years of life.

Mia first discovered Music Together as a parent attending classes with her daughter. She was immediately drawn to its joyful, research-based approach to early childhood music education and its ability to bring families together through meaningful music-making. She especially loves introducing young children to songs and musical traditions from around the world.

Mia believes in the magic of music and the joy of learning together. She is excited to welcome families into a warm, supportive community where connection, creativity, and a lifelong love of music can flourish.
